We grow seedlings in trays for reforestation projects. The job of a seasonal nursery worker who joins us for seedling thinning is to remove extra seedlings in containers (plant trays) and transplant them into empty cavities within the containers.

It is fast paced production work which involves a high degree of manual dexterity and keen eyesight. The faster you work, the more money you get paid.

Work is indoor in greenhouses and also outdoors.


•Indoor and outdoor work, must be willing to work in varying weather conditions
•Work is meticulous; requires sharp eyesight and high manual dexterity
•Appropriate clothing required (raingear, sun hat, non-slip footwear)
•Reliable transportation is essential
•Must be able to pass a functional abilities test (lift, pull, push, bend)
•No experience necessary, full training provided
•Season is March through July with opportunities to join other projects on a seasonal basis throughout the year
•Flex time available to accommodate employee schedules i.e. 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, easy to work around having kids at school or a second job
