    Our Partners

Through our partnerships with educational institutions, community, business and industry organizations and multiple levels of government, we’ve developed diverse and comprehensive award-winning programs and funding opportunities for the First Nations people of the North Vancouver Island region. Through these collaborations, we are able to deliver effective educational programs and employment services to the Indigenous people of our communities, as well as to offer graduates the ongoing support to encourage success in their chosen field.

NVIATS operates under the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS), which is funded by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. The ASETS program provides funding to support the costs of programs, services and other activities undertaken to increase the participation of Aboriginal Peoples in the Canadian labour market.
